President Scott Elliott gaveled the meeting to order.
Randy “Doc” Haight led the Pledge of Allegiance.
President Elliott led the opening prayer.
Mel Howell led the SAR Pledge.
Officer’s Reports
President Elliott gave brief remarks and indicated that he will attend the meeting of the State Society in April and offered to make a presentation to the Sacramento Chapter (TBD) concerning information about his Patriot.
President Elliott provided information on the new Chapter website to include efforts to “update” all “Patriots” associated with our Chapter. Members were requested to check and ensure all of their Patriots are listed.
President Elliott will transmit the “Change of Officers” report to the California Society, via Craig Anderson.
Treasurer Charles Newcomb reported current balance is about $8500. with expenditures from 2021 down, possibly due to COVID situation.
Secretary Randy Haight read the minutes of the January meeting.
SAR 250 Presentation
Craig Anderson, Executive Vice President of the California Society, provided an oral presentation entitled “10 Critical Days in the American Revolution.” At the conclusion, he presented members with a “RW 250 SAR” lapel pen, commemorating the upcoming 250th Anniversary of the Revolutionary War.
Charles Newcomb led the SAR Recessional.
President Elliott led the closing prayer.
